Open Positions:

Title: Human Resource Coordinator
Status: Part Time
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field a plus
Experience: 2-4 years of direct related experience

Required Skills:

· Strong time management and organization skills
· Experience with ADP payroll, time & attendance and benefits web based programs
· Experience with recruitment tasks such as posting job ads, resume, and phone screenings, background checks
· General knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
· General knowledge of federal and state labor laws

General Responsibilities: Provides administrative support to the Human Resources department for all payroll, benefits, auditing, recruitment, and employee event planning tasks.

Specific Responsibilities:

Assists with benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations for all employees
Submits 401(k) report to carrier for each pay cycle
Conducts monthly new hire benefit meetings; assists with open enrollment
Administers payroll bi-weekly in ADP and updates employee information as needed
Conducts audits of files and compiles reports
Maintains I-9 Documentation
Organizes the HR Inbox, answers all employee inquiries and forwards emails to the HR Manager as necessary
Maintains active employee files, termed employee files, and medical confidential files
Administers recruitment tasks such as job postings, resume screening, phone screening, reference checks, rejection letters, background reports, drug tests, new hire orientation
Logs all applicants on the Applicant Flow Log and assists with the annual Affirmative Action Program review
Prepares new hire and termination paperwork
Administers performance reviews
Completes all active and termed employment verifications, along with all Unemployment Claims
Plans and participates in employee events, morale boosters and community events as needed
Enforces and supports all Company and HR policies and events with a positive and neutral attitude
Performs customer service functions by answering employee questions within 24 hours of receiving the request
Maintains confidentiality of all HR related information
Reports all critical communications to the HR Manager that might affect company business
